About Us

GROWTH CONTINUES

The first three family homes for Community Concepts built in Mason, Ohio quickly grew to a total of eight, offering homes to 64 individuals. Then in 2015, the total of individuals served grew to 76 when two additional family homes were built in Montgomery County.

Growth came for Community Options as well beginning in 1993 with residential services followed by
non-medical and homemaker/personal care transportation services. As the numbers of individuals grew, so did the need to expand opportunities for them in the area of adult day services. So, in 2014, the Davis family opened COI-CONNECTED in Lebanon, Ohio providing adult day support and vocational opportunities. Many individuals at COI-C perform meaningful jobs at our location and in the community.

Today, CCI/COI supports over 250 individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout 6 southwest Ohio counties.

Comprehensive Care Is Our Focus

Our services and supports promote rising to new heights.  With every individual we go well beyond programming and address the five domains of wellness: physical, mental, interpersonal, vocational and psycho-social.

That’s the Concepts and Options difference.

We Have Strong Behavioral Supports

We have extensive experience serving individuals with intense behavioral needs. We recognize and understand that staffing, training and genuine understanding are the key components of success.
